He has worked with a diverse clientele, ranging from the general population to amateur and professional athletes and is a firm believer in results based training. He approaches each client with a considered understanding of their individual needs and strengths.

Sing-Kik currently employs his skills as the High-Performance Coach at Alamein Football Club (Women’s National Premier League, Soccer). Working with players ranging from under 12s to senior women, some who played for the Australian Soccer team, The Matildas, his efforts are focused on injury prevention through attention to landing mechanics, pre-activation, dynamic warmups, and recovery and hydration protocols.

He is also responsible for creating strength and conditioning programs with sport-specific exercises to optimise performance over a 28-week season of soccer. Sing-Kik places a significant emphasis on recovery through stretching, foam rolling and trigger ball release therapy as a part of this.

Five years of working as a personal trainer has allowed him to develop a deep understanding of the body’s biomechanics, enabling him to effectively decrease back, hip, knee, neck and shoulder pain for clients. An internship with Acceleration Melbourne (ACE) has given him a wealth of knowledge about running and sprint mechanics.

Sing-Kik is an avid powerlifter, developing a consummate understanding of lifting mechanics. He also practises Lion and Dragon dancing at the Jow Ga Keuw Martial Arts Association and indulges his passion for MMA at Omega Martial Arts in Collingwood, training in jiu-jitsu under former UFC fighter, George Sotiropoulos.

Sing-Kik’s coaching philosophy is to educate and empower his clients within an energetic, positive environment to ensure they enjoy the time they spend training to achieve the results they desire.
